In a recent episode of the “Impaulsive” podcast, WWE superstar Logan Paul expressed frustration over his unsuccessful attempts to secure a fight in the UFC, attributing the setback to CM Punk’s prior performances in the octagon.
Paul revealed that he had reached out to UFC President Dana White, offering to participate in UFC 300. He stated, “I told Dana for UFC 300. I texted him and said, ‘Hey man, consider me available to fight on the undercard in The Sphere.’ He basically completely ignored me, which I think spoke volumes.”
Reflecting on CM Punk’s UFC tenure, Paul commented, “He f*cked it up. After that, Dana was like, ‘I’m never doing this again.’ But dude, I’m not CM Punk. He’s a great wrestler, not a great UFC fighter. I think I would be a much better UFC fighter than I would just a boxer. My skill is wrestling. I am a wrestler.”
Despite the setback, Paul emphasized his commitment to WWE, stating, “I think I’ve found a path. I’m a WWE Superstar now. It’s one of the only things I have done in my life where I feel so at home.”
